Bettie Page is making a return appearance at the Philly Non-Sports Card Show. OK, yes we know—if we could pull this off, we’d be given the show promoter of the year award. What we mean is that through the generosity of trading card manufacturer Versicolor Productions, we have another Bettie Page promo card to give away to show attendees at the upcoming Philly Non-Sports Card Show.
Philly Show attendees may remember we handed out our first Bettie Page promo card at the Fall 2010 show, the promo numbered BP3-PHILLY, was for the first Bettie Page Private Collection series. The card featured art by Geri Centonze and there was two versions of the card back. The following Spring, the first 40 Philly Show attendees were treated to a blank Bettie Page Private Collection sketch card that allowed them to commission the sketch of their choice from the artist of their choice. You can see some of those completed sketches on our forum in this thread.
And now we are happy to report at the upcoming Spring show, taking place on April 21 & 22 at the Merchants Square Mall (12 S Vultee St Allentown, PA 18103), Versicolor Productions has given us a new, two-card promo puzzle set, for their second Bettie Page series, Bettie Page Box 2 Trading Card Set to give away at the show (shown below). The two-card promo set features art by Veronica O’Connell, who luckily enough, also happens to be one of the artists appearing at the show. The cards are numbered BP22a-Philly and BP22b-Philly. One card will be available with your paid admission to the show and the other card can be obtained from Veronica O’Connell’s table at the show. O’Connell is doing puzzle incentive sketch cards for the series and Versicolor has come up with a clever way to promote not only this fact, but the upcoming series itself, which is due at year’s end. The company has recently announced that for every set of Bettie Page Box 2 sold, a percentage of sales will be donated towards the planting of 1,000 trees.
More information about Bettie Page Box 2 can be found on Versicolor Productions’ website. More information about the Philly Non-Sports Card Show can be found on the Non-Sport Update website here.

Wow..I can’t wait. Not only is this a great 2 promo puzzle, but for Versicolor to plant trees is awesome!
The cards look fantastic. Versicolor does great work.
I can’t wait to meet the artist and get her autograph on her beautiful card, too.
