Blood Drive: The Parody CollectionIf you picked-up a copy of Non-Sport Update‘s Feb/Mar ’16 issue, you may have noticed the Blood Drive: The Parody Collection promo card from Dead of Night Entertainment.  Blood Drive is an upcoming product which spoofs properties from the world of television, sci-fi, and horror movies, cartoons, comics, and much, much more.

Series one of Blood Drive: The Parody Collection will have a Kickstarter campaign beginning this Spring. Artist Bobby Akers Jr. tells us the Kickstater will be an exclusive version with the wax wrappers, screen printed inedible gum and some really awesome chase cards. Yesterday, the artist posted the following on Facebook.

I’ve received a few inquires in regards where to purchase Blood Drive trading cards. Right now we’re in our promotional phase. We did an exclusive “Slimy Cthulhubuster” which is packaged with the Feb/March issue of Non-Sport Update Magazine, shipping now. You will be able to find it at Barnes & Noble, Comic Shops, NSU website. Past promos “Taste The Farce” & “’89 Superhero Worship”, there are a few sellers on eBay with them.

Astute promo collectors may have noticed the promos inside NSU is number P3-A and the reference to past promos above. Those two cards were handed out at this past Fall’s Philly Non-Sports Card Show.

Akers Jr. says collectors should stay tuned! And be sure to also stay tuned to the blog and pages of NSU for more on Blood Drive: The Parody Collection.
