Cryptozoic LogoLast week, we announced Versicolor Productions as the first sponsor of our brand new artists show, Pop Art Con. Today, we’re thrilled to announce the second: Cryptozoic Entertainment. Cryptozoic will pay the way for two exciting artists to come to the show.

Gary Kezele from Seattle, WA will be making the trip to Pop Art Con as well as Tim Shay from California. Kezele has worked on two of Cryptozoic Entertainments’ releases: CBLDF Liberty Trading Cards and The Walking Dead Trading Cards as well as Star Wars Galaxy and other releases. Shay has worked on Cyptozoic’s The Walking Dead Trading Cards as well as many other hobby releases include The Bettie Page Private Collection for Versicolor Productions.

We’re ecstatic to announce that in addition to sponsoring Kezele and Shay, Cryptozoic will be sponsoring a dinner on Saturday night before the show (Saturday, June 9) which will be free to artists and their guests as well as attendees, on a limited basis. Details on the dinner will be announced soon.

And finally, Cryptozoic Entertainment’s art director will be on-hand to review portfolios. Are you an aspiring artist? Do you think you have what it takes to create trading cards? Bring your portfolio and find out!

You will not want to miss this show! Pop Art Con will take place June 10, 2012 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ft. Washington, PA (outside Philadelphia).

I know one thing, you can not go wrong with Tim Shay, his work is top of the line. I have lots of his Buffy, Angel & Supernatural cards and I treasure them.
