Bram Stoker's Dracula cards by Al Davison

Some interesting things that happened in the world of non-sport cards last week:

• Artist Rhiannon Owen posted a video entry on Facebook announcing two books. The first will be a collection of trading card and sketch card artwork. The second will be hardcover, full cover edition, which will include pin-ups, commissions  paintings, fully rendered pieces, and works which have been printed as part of trading card sets. Owens is hoping to have them in hand in February for shipping in March.

• Cult Stuff announced a few details of its Bram Stoker’s Dracula factory set. Each factory set will include at least two premium insert cards. The company has posted on its website “we are really loading this with high quality cards and interesting extras.” It was revealed the series will also include art from comics industry veteran Al Davison, who is contributing both base cards and a limited number of sketch cards.Cult Stuff has posted images of many of the sketch cards on our forum, NSU Card Talk.

• Upper Deck has posted a promotional YouTube video (below) previewing base cards and sketch cards (included hinged sketch cards) for Marvel Premier, the high end series we wrote about about back in July.
