Here we go with NSU‘s annual poll of the best of 2015, trading card style! Perhaps you’re already sick of year-end, 2015 trend stories, and polls but here’s one you can really sink your hobby teeth into. We’re looking to you tell us what you thought were the best cards of the year—not necessarily your favorites—but the ones you thought were executed best. You may choose up to five products.

VOTING: The list of eligible 2015 sets are listed below. You may vote for up to five series and you’re free to write in other card sets, sets which may still come out before the poll closes, or sets which we may have inadvertently left off the list. Please only vote one time (once again, you may choose up to five series) and feel free to share the poll with your card collecting friends on your favorite social media network so that they can vote for their favorites too.

NOTE: For any card manufacturers out there who might be reading this, please know we love your cards but we do ask that you not rally the troops to vote for your products so that we can get as close to a true year-end list as possible. If we spot evidence of ballot-tampering, your sets will be disqualified. Thanks!

DEADLINE: Voting ends 5 p.m. EDT Thursday, Dec. 31, and results will be posted shortly thereafter. They’ll be no prizes or freebies but we hope you’ll voice your favorites anyway. And check back to see if your favorites won.

Feel free to discuss/list/explain/lobby for your picks in the comments section below.

Happy Holidays from NSU!

I voted for 4 sets that I bought and loved, and one I never got – The Rittenhouse Buffy Set. While not in my budget, it gave us the autograph we all wanted and the possibility of the first Buffy sketches.

Whoever wins, thanks for a great year in cards, looking forward to what you do in 2016!

I voted for the 4 products from which I bought the most cards this year. I would be surprised if more than one of them cracks the top ten. I think Star Wars sets will take up a good portion of the list, but I chose only what I personally collected.

The Perna “Classic Fairy Tales” had amazing sketches and is my favourite…Topps Doctor Who was a big disappointment with over familiar images, weird sub sets and those awful “TARDIS patch” cards

I had one write in vote-Bates Motel (Breygent). My wife and son loved it.
My son and I worked on Star Wars:Journey to the force awakens (Topps). He even traded with his friends.
My son and I worked on Marvel’s Agents of Shield (Rittenhouse) for him.
For me, I had some fun with Fleer Marvel Retro 2015 and Dr. Who (Topps).

Perna’s Hallowe’en 2 (or any of their sets, actually) Always Top Shelf quality!

Also RRParks cards – so much bang-for-the buck and just plain fun!

I voted for both Arrow sets, the Buffy set, GPK 30th and Agents of SHIELD Season 2. Arrow season 1 because of the auto lineup, 2 for the design, Buffy for SMG, GPK was a lot of fun and AOS 2 for the auto lineup as well.
