Are you heading to New York Comic Con next weekend? Non-Sport Update will be making an exclusive appearance at the SideKick/Onell Design booths (#’s: 576 & 578) in the Cultyard section of the show. Look for Non-Sport Update‘s Editor-in-Chief, Alan Biegel, and Production Manager, Harris Toser, along with top friend of Non-Sport Update and guest blogger, Bob Hulsart. We’ll be there for a limited time only (as the saying goes) on Friday from 1 – 2 PM. We’ll be wandering the show floor throughout the day on Friday as well.
SideKick and Onell Design have a pretty ingenious set-up this year. Along with displaying their own wares, they will host a plethora of special guests at their booths with a special booth set-up designed by SideKick’s Tom Lichtman. You can see Tom’s design in the planning stages over at the SideKick blog. SideKick will display trading cards they have manufactured while Onell Design will display their line of toys. Lichtman expects a good bit of customer overlap at both booths. A common area will allow “double wide” display when guests are exhibiting.
Look for a great line-up of artists who have worked on SideKick trading cards to appear at the booth and even some who haven’t. Onell Design will also have guest artists on-hand. Lichtman explains that Simeon Lipman, creator of The Art Hustle, called in some favors along with a decent amount of arm twisting to come up with the pretty terrific line-up of guests below.
