We run consignment auctions and often receive unusual items. Non-sport card collecting is like that—there’s always something new under the sun. Even though, I’ve been involved with non-sport cards since the mid-1970s, I still haven’t seen everything.
A consigner gave me two of three very unusual Elvis cards. They have a post card back and only one part is missing. They were sent to a confectionary store in the Bronx by Topps to advertise the 1956 Elvis trading cards. The fronts are #25 Elvis’ Motorcycle and #30 Elvis the Actor. Overall condition is VG as the corners are rounded but what an unusual item!
