While I have not heard final attendance numbers, I’m sure there were at least 1,000 people that came through the door. The show boasted a nice variety of media, artist, and cosplay guests including Austin St John and Karan Ashley from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers; Nicholas Brendon from Buffy the Vampire Slayer; Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic book artist Rebekah Isaacs; Marvel/DC artist Bob McLeod; and cosplayer Nicole Marie Jean.

The show also had a 12-card promo cards being given out. The cards featured show guests and were at random tables in the room, ensuring that attendees actually went to all the tables if they wanted to get the full set. Despite the fact that there was a promo card set created and there were a few attending artists who worked on sketch cards (Bill McKay, Laura Inglis, Rusty Gilligan, and Darren Auck), the only dealer with non-sport cards at the show was Nathan Stubbs, who is a familiar face to attendees of the Philly Non-Sports Card Show (also held at the Merchants Square Mall). This is fairly typical of comic cons as it seems as if most of the attendees are there for the media guests, artists, or for the cosplay. The next Great Allentown Comic Con! promises to be even bigger as they will be celebrating their 5th anniversary with a two-day show November 15 and 16, 2014.
