Very few card series in our niche of the hobby rise to the upper echelons of popularity as Cryptozoic Entertainment’s The Walking Dead cards have. Cards and unopened boxes from the first series have risen steeply in value and currently command a premium. And now, everyone is waiting for Cryptozoic’s command performance.

The Walking Dead Season Two was first mentioned on our forum (NSU Card Talk) in late July. Since then, the thread has had over 235 posts and an astounding 18k page views. Also during that time, Cryptozoic has posted most of the series details on their own product page. The only question remaining is When does the series come out? Tonight, Cryptozoic is announcing the cards will go live December 11.

When asked about the Walking Dead mania, Cryptozoic’s Miranda Anderson had this to say: “The Walking Dead Season 2 release is highly anticipated. I’m confident fans are really going to enjoy this set. We’ve increased Wardrobe card ratios, the amazing Autograph line-up, and the Triple Wardrobe and Dual Autograph cards are awesome. This is one of my favorite sets we’ve released so far, and we’re very excited that collectors will be able to enjoy their cards on December 11th!”

We hear you Miranda—We’re looking forward to December 11th too! Until then, enjoy the two exclusive Walking Dead Season 2 sketch card images below.
